Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown’s celebrated music theatre song-cycle transports the audience anywhere from the deck of a Spanish sailing ship in 1492, to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue, to the harsh reality of contemporary city streets, and beyond!
It’s been a decade since Songs enjoyed its original New York engagement. Since then the show has enjoyed more than 300 productions worldwide – but this latest Melbourne incarnation is something altogether different. Usually presented with a small, revue-style cast, Devanesen Productions will utilise a powerful ensemble of 17 handpicked, young Victorian artists – letting this acclaimed work soar to new heights.
Director/Producer - Sunayan Devanesen

Leyla Moody is turning thirteen. A time to be showered in gifts and attention. A time to be treated as an adult. Right? But when you have an older si...ster with a new boyfriend, a younger brother losing his grip on reality, and a serial killer terrorising the neighbourhood, what chance do you have?

An exhibition by Kristen Phillips featuring decadent bronze sculpture. Melting candles, expectant bombs, diamond seas, casual quinces… elements of naturalism combine with classical sculpture to create a melting pot of ecle...ctic excess. This exhibition of Phillips’ new works is reminiscent of small Rococo sculpture, as relics from the family antiques are appropriated and disrespectfully refurnished as still life vanitas pieces.
