In a recent survey, more than half (56%) indicated someone in their family makes stuffing from scratch every year, and when people use bread as the base for their stuffing, white bread was chosen as the best option (18%). White bread – great for stuffing AND getting important folic acid.

GoWithTheGrain Do Americans look forward to eating turkey or stuffing more at Thanksgiving dinner? Guys stick to turkey, but the survey showed that "women heart stuffing!" Men showed a stronger likelihood to look forward to eating turkey than stuffing (62% vs. 32% respectively), while women were equally likely to look forward to eating turkey to stuffing.

GoWithTheGrain Did you know Americans ranked stuffing as their favorite Thanksgiving side dish? Stuffing ranked the highest (29%), followed by mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and squash. And do know what stuffing is made of? BREAD! (P.S. It's National Bread Month!)
