Going Native “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

Why not spice it up a little this weekend?
With Valentine's Day coming up, we're sending you our virtual Moroccan Chickpea Soup as some inspiration for some "love food".
According to many people in Morocco and across North Africa the chickpea (or garbanzo bean) increases both energy & desire!
This soup also has some gin...ger in it, which, in China is a “Yang” (or warm) ingredient, and is known the world over to be a natural aphrodisiac. It's even mentioned in India in the Kama Sutra where it mentions that success in love can be improved by "aphrodisiacs, herbs, and spells."
You could also throw in a pinch of saffron, not only the world's most expensive spice but according to Greek, Persian, and Chinese cultures to name a few, part of saffron’s magical property is the enhancement of “lust”.
In fact we’d bet that upto six of the most time honored "love herbs" are probably sitting in your kitchen right now, because believe it or not, Cloves, Saffron, Pepper, Vanilla, Nutmeg, and Ginger are thought to be among the most common, yet potent aphrodisiacs around!
Share the love (and our virtual soup) around, get cooking & have a happy Valentine’s Day weekend people!! And if you’d like…why not share some of your “love food” tips with us all?

According to Japanese mythology, miso is a gift to mankind from the gods to assure health, longevity and happiness, so we're sending you all our virtual Japanese Miso Soup today to wish you the same.
"It is believed that miso was introduced to Japan in the 7th Century by Buddhist Monks. The process of making miso was fu...rther refined and it became a necessary part of the Samurai diet. With the widespread cultivation of rice, miso has become a staple food for Japanese people. Over the centuries, different types of miso were developed, often named after the province whre it originated. Well know varieties are shiromiso native to Kyoto, hatchomiso native to Aichi Prefecture and Shinshu miso produced in the Nagano Prefecture."
Did you know? Miso Soup is enjoyed daily for breakfast in Japan!
