The New Ulm Country Club is located in New Ulm, MN. Established in 1929, it is a scenic and challenging course adjacent to Flandrau State Park. The clubhouse was remodeled in March of 2009 and hosts events year round with room for more than 300.

This league is for members and non-members of NUCC. You don’t have to bring a friend but you do need a partner to make a team (must find your own partner). Your team will compete against other two person teams weekly. Format will be the same as last year. All 9-hole rounds will be played on the front nine.
New for 2010: Online league stats & handicapping. New playoff format.
In our attempts to finish before night fall we are requesting that if you can golf before 5pm to please let us know. The earlier we can get matches started the better. Tee times will start as early as 4:15 when possible.

New Ulm Country Club Tempted to take out break in a putt by hitting it harder? Unless the putt finds the center of the hole, it is actually easier to miss a putt that way. Dave Pelz states that the correct putting speed would result in a missed putt traveling about 18 inches past the hole. Play enough break and use the right speed and you will have far more success on the greens.

New Ulm Country Club Tip of the week. Now that we are into mid-season form, we golfers tend to try to pump up that driving distance. Unfortunately that also can translate into loose, long, and out-of-balance swings. If you have been off your game lately, you might want to take a quick trip to the range. Try to keep your head from excess...ively moving around, focus upon finishing in balance, and try some shorter swings with longer clubs.
New Ulm Country Club Tip of the week = Posture. When you set up to the golf ball, make sure you bend over at the waist so your shoulders aren't slouched over the ball. Your back should be fairly straight. A suprising number of golfers slouch down to the ball and therefore are prevented from properly rotating their shoulders and arms around their body.
