Goodwill Red Vase Contest
Today my wife and I took our two kids to Goodwill during our morning travels and we found this beautiful but plain red glass vase.
It's square in shape with the top opening being larger than the bottom, the approximate dimensions are: 10 ½ cm width at the top and 7 ½ cm width at the bottom, the... height of the vase is 23 cm.
We are going to let you decide what design we should laser engrave into the glass.
We will be soliciting ideas, and allowing users to comment on which idea they like the best. At the end of the contest whom ever we feel has the most positive comments will have their idea brought to life and the finished item given to them for free.
There is no cost to enter the contest, just look at the pictures of the plain red vase and submit your engraving in an image format you can post to our message forum.
Submit as many engraving ideas as you wish.
We recommend the use of the following open-source graphic programs because we are familiar with them and use them ourselves.
InkScape http://www.inkscape.org/
GIMP http://www.gimp.org/
This contest will run until the end of January, the winner will be selected by February 5th, and the final selection engraved into the plain red vase by February 10th.

Shewn Well here lately I have been harassed by the manager at my local goodwill place. I go into this goodwill everyday and always find the best deals on things like others do. The problem is that , I tell EVERYONE about the killer deal I get on things that would cost well over 200 for 10 - $15 bucks! So because of me speaki...ng out about the awesome deals I find at my local goodwill I have been told I am only allowed to check out by a manager, which I know is not right! HELP!!!
Brenda Goodwill is the best bargin place I know of. I found a complete matched set of American Tourister luggage for $15.95! It was barely used.

Brandt Alright folks, I just wanted to give yall a quick update. Like I said before thanks to the GoodWill recuriters here at the Peach Orchard Job Connection center in Augusta, GA I landed a job at Kroger as a courtesy clerk (a supermarket chain in the southern states) I have been on the job for 8 weeks now, the mangers are... so impressed on how well Im functioning with my Aspergers especially under pressure and when my senses overload they suggested for my career goals to go ahead upgrade my special ed diploma (hs) to a GED and that Id make a good healh/risk management of loss prevention person they said if that dont work to get the ged and go to a local tech school and get some mangament training because I have the makings of a great manager. thats what the store manager said
