Founded by Scott Walker in Port Townsend, Washington, Graywolf Press has evolved from a letterpress housed in an outbuilding in Scott’s backyard, to one of the country’s leading non profit literary publishers.

Now based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and directed by publisher Fiona McCrae, Graywolf publishes about thirty books a year and works with Farrar, Straus & Giroux to distribute those titles to bookstores and media outlets across the country.
