My family did the drive to Hana many, many years ago when I was a girl. Got hit hard by a truck racing around one of those turns and almost flew right off the hillside! Not to be deterred, once things were settled we continued on and enjoyed Hana - wasn't much there back then, but it was certainly a stunning spot.

This time one year ago, we went to Maui for my birthday and went horseback riding down Haleakala! What an adventure that was! I loved Maui and wish to go back. The Road to Hana - wasn't too impressed.

We've been on Disney, RC and Carnival. Disney is by far the best even without kids but you get what you pay for. RC was ok but service & food wasn't as good - had a few bad experiences but we didn't let it ruin our vacation. Carnival was great. Definitely not as good as Disney but much better than RC. We going on Carnival Freedon on the same ... Read Moreitinerary as Samantha Brown in a few weeks. Can't wait! We're hoping to go on another Disney Cruise but it will take us another couple of years to save for it - just in time for the new Disney ship.
