What?!

What is the HCJ Project? : HIDE
It's an "artist led" initiative to work together to promote a unified face for contemporary art jewellery, contemporary silver, and small object art.
We encourage participation : We focus our efforts on working together, to increase our individual reach.
Centralized information is available for re-use: helping us all to promote our work more effectively.
Think of the HCJ Project more as "a movement" rather than something based at a central location.

Where is the HCJ Project? : HIDE
The "home" of the project is where site members pool and present jewelry information.
A core value is that the project provides access for redistributing [submitted] information so site members can display information they have submitted on their own sites. This "submit here be seen everywhere" approach helps us build the jewelry web, promote ourselves collectively more efficiently, and save ourselves time.
One example of this would be "the calendar" which is populated by user submissions and allows small sites to easily display current information on contemporary jewellery exhibitions (e.g. THEIR exhibitions alongside other premium exhibitions). This "adds value" to the participating sites, with very little effort on their part : we work together!
We also have a customizable start page, which provides a "snapshot", with extended aggregated content from around the jewelry web and an easy way for people involved in the project to have quick access to the internal tools which run it.
We are on also on social networks like here on Facebook, on Flickr, and on Twitter.
Do please take time to ask questions!
Ask from the discussions tab here on Facebook, by using twitter, ask in the site forums, or ask and vote on questions here, where the most popular questions will be answered in detail on the insider blog.
Understanding how the project works or is run is not instant. Your interaction should be to contribute rather than spam: we all have the same goal, which is to target and reach more people interested in contemporary art jewellery!
