Hi Francine, sorry for the late reply, I was expecting someone else would post something for you.

From the specification point of view. It does come with the latest chipset from Intel, the core i7-720QM, as well as the latest GPU, the NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M, with 1Gb of dedicated graphic RAM. 6GB of DDR3 RAM, LED back-lid screen for power efficiency...

HP did put a lot of cool features into this product, I'd say, it could be the best LAPTOP you can find in the store.

Tom David Iq506 screen flickers upon installing windows 7. The fix: download old vista video driver. Manually unzip the file. Manually install vista video driver from the SRC folder. Windoes 7 video driver is buggy.

Eric hello, i wanted to upgrade to windows 7 but hp quick lunch buttons gives me sum problems, windows 7 dvd told me to uninstall hp quick lunch buttons before upgrading but if i do, how hp quick lunch buttons will work with windows 7, by downloading the drivers with windows update after the upgrade? my laptop is dv2990ca artist edition.

choose your OS, and install the driver, this could solve your problem.
Otherwise, contact hp costumer service at 1800-hp-invent
