Patricia Beaudry Is there a contact at HUD to call to discuss a servicer not responding to your phone calls regarding a modification, since April of 2009 cannot get any info from . Spoke with a HUD councilor they forwarded a package to servicer, which was Countrywide now BOA.

I have been trying to find an affordable rental apartment for months and so far have no luck. I have checked your web site and called the various numbers listed. Every number I have called, I got almost the same answer, either there is a five year waiting list or no apts available. I live in hudson county and I have lo...oked in bergen,hudson, essex and union county for housing. I am looking for a 3 bedroom unit for myself my wife and 3 kids.Also I would like to know if the officer next door program is still available I would even consider getting involved in that program. Restraint...it means to be "patient" with Lenders; Loan Agents; Realtors and Escrow companies that are at least showing a good faith effort to comply with new RESPA requirements. As a Signing Agent, I just get involved in the "closing" portion of home loans. But, it seems to be that most of those that I work with are ...ready for the changes.

I couldn't believe that someone like me couldn't even get on section 8 or its list, and couldn't find an apartment with-in a 2 year period; I'm still waiting on lists for apartments but everytime a opening occurs they tell me I could move in but would have to pay the regular rent (which is way to much) until someone mo...ves out. Plus the place I'm in now needs to have someone come look at because of whats going on here.Why is it so easy for able bodied people to get into disabled apartments and ppl like me get the short end of the stick?Read More

I'm trying so hard to find a HUD apartment close to my family! I'm confined to a wheel chair due to a spinal cord injury, and am currently living 2 hours away from my family who I need for support. I had to move this far away because of being homeless or having a roof over my head. Diane I just found out that my daughter is living with a couple that has section 8 housing. My daughter is not part of there lease. They are having her pay $210.00 a week to live with them. They have been caught in the past for section 8 fraud. What can I do. I'm so tired of these people taking advantage of the system. It just turns my stomach.
