The 2009 Day of Caring was held on September 11, 2009, corresponding with the national Day of Service recently signed into law by President Obama. Over 1600 volunteers from over 47 companies and 70 agencies and schools participated in 91 different service projects...
Heart of West Michigan United Way UW’s 2-1-1 responded to 6,263 inquiries during August…an increase of 21%. For the year, we are on pace to respond to 78,000 to 80,000 inquiries.
