Space is filling up FAST ... With 2010 around the corner, we're recruiting volunteers to come out to a birthday party -- Habitat-style -- by building two homes with two families in ONE WEEK. Birthday Blitzers will have a great day building new skills and meeting new people. Come out and make a difference. Plus, we thi...nk that 25 is old enough for a boy-girl party. So one home will be a Women Build, an all-women volunteer house. Guys are needed to help build the other house. (We'll all play nice and meet in the middle each day for birthday cake.)
Registration required at www.phfh.org. No experience necessary. Registration required. Registration fee includes lunch, t-shirt and cake! Pre-registration - $25 until January 1st. Registration - $35 after January 1st.
SATURDAY, JAN 23 (11 AM - NOON) - BLITZ DEDICATIONS - Everyone is invited to join us as we dedicate the Blitz homes to the Anderson and Barnhart families.
These families are sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities and the 2009 Hammers and Heartstrings Ball. The land was provided by the Board of County Commissioners and the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County through their creation and contribution to the Pinellas Community Land Trust Program.
