I would like to see more MALS-leaning courses and I would like to have extended summer offerings.

Some off-the-cuff course topics:
Sustainability, responsible agriculture/living
Exploration of how science and faith/values interact... See More
Folklore
Film studies
Social, cultural, and spiritual studies of other nations

I also think we need more travel opportunities... learning outside our own campus and outside our own borders. Cultural exchanges with other universities.

Thanks for asking!

I want to see a hardcore editing / revision course for the MFA program.. one that teaches skills of how to look at our work with an editor's eye- something along the lines of The Artful Edit (Susan Bell) meets The Elements of Style..

I second the Folklore- a course about oral traditions, how story telling started.

Thanks!
