Hana Hou! The Magazine of Hawaiian Airlines
In Hawaiian Hana Hou! means "One More Time!" or "Encore!." It's a cheer you hear often after a concert at the Waikiki Shell, a hula performance-or a visit to the Islands of Hawaii.

Aloha Lupita. This is a topic far too large for us to answer in a FB entry; if you can get a copy of the magazine, we have a detailed events calendar that should give you some good suggestions of where to go and what to do while you're here. Have a great wedding, and congratulation!

Hana Hou! The Magazine of Hawaiian Airlines Aloha! The Dec/Jan. issue is out. For our feature story, "Seven Summits," Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jesse Katz visited (or tried to) the diverse and unique worlds at the peaks of the main Hawaiian Islands. "Gidget Goes Hawaiian" features the diaries of the Kathy Kohner, the real Gidget, written when she visited the Islands in 1959 to surf.

Nikki

Nikki Just back from a wonderful Hawaiian vacation and flew with you for the first time. It was an awesome experience and that's a lot coming from someone who flies weekly for work!!! I enjoyed your magazine and specifically the Paul Wood feature story on how the airline survived the downturn in our economy. I misplaced my c...opy of the magazine and was looking for the article online. Didn't see it on your website. Where can I find it? Thx!

Our website is not being updated regularly at the moment (one of the many effects of our economic downturn has been loss of staff here at Hana Hou! I can't say when the site will be updated; I can only suggest you keep checking.

Hana Hou! The Magazine of Hawaiian Airlines

Hana Hou! The Magazine of Hawaiian Airlines It's our Hawaiian Airlines 80th anniversary celebration issue! Check out Paul Wood's feature story on how the airline survived the tumult of 2008; an interview with CEO Mark Dunkerley, and and the restoration of a vintage 1929 plane that started the company. Other goodness: the vanishing art of shell-lei making, a piec...e on a historic race to claim Necker Island, and a most unusual Big Island family.
