(Lil) Green Hatchlings Patch Thanks for all of your support everyone. It's good to know that this site is so helpful to so many. The Hatchlings developer believes that this site should be fine, so we should be sticking around for a while. It's great to have Brad's endorsement! :)

(Lil) Green Hatchlings Patch Because of all the upcoming Facebook changes (http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Developer_Roadmap), we don't know the future of this Fan Page site. We are doing our best to make sure we meet all the qualifications, but don't be surprised if we are unable to post any new announcements or photos. We will keep you posted as best we can. Thank you for all of your support.

If this is #42, then the White Owl was considered a Myth too? and there was no write up about the White Owl's myth.
I'm confused.

Here Rebecca - I'll make you one! Egg #37 - White Owl - In many cultures, owls signal an underworld or serve to represent human spirits after death; in other cultures, owls represent supportive spirit helpers and allow humans (often shamans) to connect with or utilize their supernatural powers. Among some native groups in the Pacific Northwest of ... Interesting similarities between this and Khepri - wonder if there is some link between these historical/mythical figures?

Basilisk Egg - A legendary reptile reputed to be king of serpents and said to have the power to cause death with a single glance. The basilisk of Cyrene is a small snake, "being not more than twelve fingers in length", that is so venomous that it leaves a wide trail of deadly venom in its wake, and its gaze is likewis...e lethal; its weakness is in the odour of the weasel, which according to Pliny, was thrown into the basilisk's hole, recognisable because all the surrounding shrubs and grass had been scorched by its presence.

Does anybody know - is this part of the Myth series? Or just another special egg like the previoius owls? Since there's no paragraph explaining the "myth" of the White Owl, I'm thinking it's not part of the series.

(Lil) Green Hatchlings Patch Aswang - A mythical creature in Filipino folklore. The aswang is an inherently evil vampire-like creature and is the subject of a wide variety of myths and stories, the details of which often vary greatly. They're often described as a combination of vampire and witch almost always female. The most popular original definition is it is an eater of the dead.

I think this one could have doubled for a Halloween egg (instead of the Lindowrm, which had absolutely NO connection to Halloween at all).

Hippogriff Egg - A legendary creature, supposedly the offspring of a griffin and a mare. The reason for its great rarity is that griffins regard horses as prey. It has been suggested this idea was strong enough in medieval times to produce an expression, "to mate griffins with horses", which meant about the same as th...e modern expression, "When pigs fly". The hippogriff was therefore a symbol of impossibility and love.
