Hawkeye Community College 58 colleges now charge more than $50k per year! Most of the article is behind a paywall, but the headline alone makes a good conversation starter, no? Even taking grants, etc. into account, that's a breathtaking amount of money.

(But it was on a college campus, where clowns on unicycles are practically normal, so maybe the research was flawed ;-)
