We just started the Headsprout Comprehension Program with ours. First day today. He loved it! I am very pleased with it so far. If it gets him reading (7) like it did today, it is a god-send! My 5 year old sounds like yours. He's been in the Early Reading Program and he is excelling. Thank you Headsprout!

Francesca

Francesca Hi, I was wondering if anyone from the Uk has been using headsprout with a child in Reception. The way sounds are pronounced in British English are slightly different from American English and I wanted to know whether this proved to be a problem at all. thanks!

I was just coming to post the same question. I'm in the USA and considering using this but wondered about the difference in pronounciation as well.

Headsprout Character of The Week: Trish is a hard worker and loves to work on her garden. After a busy day, she enjoys relaxing with a good cup of tea. She also enjoys putting on puppet shows with the puppets she creates.

Elizabeth Jones Bogh

Elizabeth Jones Bogh We started Headsprout with our daughter about a month or so ago. She's not quite 4 1/2 yet and we've gotten through the first 23 episodes and we all LOVE IT! She has picked it all up so quickly and can read through many easy early readers on her own now (included The Cat in the Hat and Hop on Pop). She isn't schedul...ed to start Kindergarten until Fall 2011 and it looks like she'll be way ahead in reading which is ok by me.

I am amazed at how wonderful this program is and recommend it to everyone I can. Thank you for such a great program Headsprout!

Now, Headsprout, wont you consider a math and foreign language program as well??!! hint, hint..look forward to your response

I have yet to discover any program, that compares to Headsprout!

It's wonderful to hear that your daughter loves the program. There are no math or foreign language programs planned in the near future, but it's always nice to hear what you'd like. Thanks for writing!
