1 little good thing amongst all the bad? Why weren't the details known before the vote last night? Our congress voted on it without anyone, including them, knowing all the details. This was inexcuseable and irresponsible of them.

Pharmacists need to make our own plan to implement MTM ourselves, instead of waiting for the government to do it for us. Lawyers don't wait for insurance/govt to pay before they bill you for legal advice.

This proposal has many pharmacy-friendly provisions that we support. I also understand an importation amendment that we would oppose was not allowed during votes in the House Committee on Rules on Friday.

I am FOR whatever the INUSRANCE-GREEDY-LYING-STEALING-SOB-COMPANIES are AGAINST. They are against this big-time- because they may lose a few BILLION.

Medicare-D is a joke- screwed over our country's elderly something awful, but nobody knows, cause the TV and the "news" lies about anything- it's a whole bunch of propaganda- i.e.- BULLSHIT.

Let's fight this liberal power grab. It's time to take a hard stance against this agenda and promote loudly our REAL cost saving plans of PORTABILITY, TORT REFORM, and LOWER business TAXES to promote COMPETITION. NO taxes on meds and health plans, YES to economic growth! Let's promote what pharmacists can do to help save the average guy tons of money every day!

Why will the House will vote on the roughly 400,000-word bill in a week when it is impossible to read that much literature let alone understand it in a week?

Must we wait on Congress to do this for us, or should pharmacists take their own, individual initiative right now to do business as sellers of services, rather than sellers of goods?

Lost in the raging debate over how to reform the health insurance system has been the patient. If we focus on the patient, then surely those aspects of reform that unite rather than divide us will come to the fore.
