Carrie Bodenger thanks for posting - I have knee surgery coming up in May - had my hip done in 2009 by the same wonderful doc - Roger Wilber - and used my guided imagery cds to great advantage then - i never needed the morphine post op and left the hospital two days early. I also had just learned Donna Eden's five minute routine which clinched the success of my recovery - so i'm on my way with all this for this next time.

Ingrid Weir I was just speaking with a friend of mine about your guided imagery. She suffers from agoraphobia, and her 11 yr old son has a terrible phobia of wind. He actually came to her and said he knew he needed help for it because it isn't rational, but he cannot stop it.

Are there any particular meditations that you would recommend for her son and for her?

We’re ready to create a new guided meditation to target Traumatic Brain Injury – this has been a long time in coming. We are asking for your input. This is how we get it right, to the extent that we do – by listening to you telling us what needs to be addressed on the recording.

If you’re a health or mental health provider; if you’re someone who is dealing with this condition; or if you’re a family member or friend who’s been trying to help somebody with TBI, please send us your insights, observations and/or experiences. You don’t have to make sense out of them. We’ll get enough info from enough people to be able to see common patterns and areas where everyone is affected.
