Aloha, Scott. Yes, that's right...the Stylistics will play in our Coral Ballroom. They're known for such hits as "You Make Me Feel Brand New," "Betcha By Golly Wow," and "Stone in Love with You." Also, we'll be having our Waikiki Starlight Luau on the lagoon green. It'll cost a little bit more but be right near the beach - a great location for ... Read Morethe luau. Hi Kylie....Here's a lousy picture of me in June up on the 30th floor of the Rainbow Tower, out on the lanai. I'm standing up next to the railing so you can get an idea of how tall they are. I'm assuming all the towers have the same height railings for safety sake. I'm 5'8". Personally, I wouldn't trust my 2 1/2 year o...ld boy out there alone. The sliding doors do have locks on them if that's any comfort to you. I'm sure you could call the hotel and ask them questions and tell them about your worries and they could explain things more.Read More

Hi...My family and I have just booked a week long holiday for early next year.....staying at the Grand waikikiian, I have requested to stay in the lower ground levels, I have a very "inquisitive" 2.5yr old, I would have loved to stay in a higher room but Im really concerned about the balconies (lanai's), does anyone kn...ow how secure and high they are???...also I have 3 children aged 13, 11 and 2...any suggestions on what to do and where to go that would suit all ages?

They can also go to the adjacent lagoon, which is very popular as well. Also for the 2-year-old the Super Pool's "keiki" (kids) pool is popular with the tots.
