Don't think the eminent domain thing was a major factor. Most of the people may have been uneducated, but they were not stupid and tended to be rather patriotic. They tended to be much more bitter about TVA and Oak Ridge. A lot of them were very good marksmen and many worked as guards around the area. Rail and water transportation were ... Read Moreavailable.
