Brittany Winters i did know someone like that once, it was hidden away usually, but i had to help them move and thats when i saw the bedroom. for someone that likes to organize i was fascinated but unfortunately i did not get to go in there. it was probably for the best that i didn't. after the move this person is much more organized, ...it was just the life she knew while raising kids on her own.

Kim I can honestly say I have never known anyone like these people. While my grandmother is a pat rack, she was very neat and clean about it. Miles of stuff, all packed away in bags and boxes.

Katy Z. Heerssen Watching this show make mine & my husband's skin crawl. I totally get the attachment to material things, I'm the same way - clothes, old toys, ticket stubs, they're all memories. All mine is at least boxed up. I'm nowhere near the people featured on the show, but I get how those featured keep so much stuff to hold o...n to happy memories & cope with bad circumstances. Sad, but screwed up at the same time.
Michael Butrica Hate hate HATE this show! Hate Mondays, too. 'Tell you Why?' Just became a fan to share. Here's why. Even more sad and depressing than Intervention and all these muldoons gotta do is straighten up the crib! It ain't crack. Do they know there's a war going on? C'mon. Who raised these loafs? WTF happened to laughter, how...zabout a little Sunny in Philadelphia. Who pooped the bed? There's a dilemma I wanna witness a solution to, not which mouse pooped the bed. Maybe it just reminds me that I got a closet or two to clean out, but who wants horrific reminders? My wife just leaves notes. XO. Arts & Entertainment my ass, y'all are slipping.

James Kendall Greenley Remember people, Jennifer, Geralin Thomas and I are all on Joy Behar tonight at 6 PM on HLN. It ended up with all of us joking around quite a bit! It was very fun and I hope that comes across on camera!
Allison Woody my name is allison woody and ILOVE HOARDERS the show is so compelling and I have great respect for the people who have this crippling disease, and am so proud of the ones who have desided to tuff it out and recieve treatment, and compassion for the ones who still suffer.it is the best show on A&E. cant wait till season 2 on monday. will be watching...

Hoarders on A&E Don't miss the season 2 premiere of Hoarders, Monday, Nov. 30th at 10p/9c on A&E. The season premiere will introduce Augustine, whose son Jason was removed from her home by Child Protective Services 14 years ago, because of her hoarding. She was never able to clean up enough to have him return. Now, as an adult livin...g on the other side of the country, he is filled with shame and resentment, but unable to turn his back on her. Augustine’s hoarding has become so severe that she has lived without water, gas, heat or appliances for the last four years -- bathing only once a week at her sister’s house. Complaints from neighbors have instigated a court ordered clean-up and the city is threatening to condemn her house. Now, Hoarders follows Jason as he tries one last time to rescue his mother from the filth he escaped from years ago.

EXACTLY how my Mom is! I've tried to help her for many years& she
won't accept help. Odd thing--she is a Psychologist who helps others
heal themselves, yet she can't heal herself. Her resistance is frustrating! Glad this show will bring light to a well hidden subject that's hard not only for the Hoarder, but also for their families!
Jason I find this show sad, hilarious and ridiculous all at the same time. Sometimes I'm thinking these folks just need a swift kick in the ass. Other times when I observe these strange attachment issues, I start to see what they are really going through in their heads, and it is heart wrenching. Some of them are willing to ...give up their whole lives in favor of the crap they collect. Bizarre but real!
