Well I think you are outnumbered on your opinion about the rides Brittany Anne Wathen. I was talking about the cost comparison not the comparison of the rides so you realy need to respond to what the topic was about.

HOLIDAY WORLD IS THE BEST!!! Anyone who thinks Holiday World is overpriced is completely wrong. Holiday World is the best value of any type of entertainment in the Midwest. I've been to many theme parks including Disney, and Holiday World is easily the best value. The employees and ownership take pride in their park and community. The rides ... Otorongo is the name of the slide that you are thinking of. I am going to go to Holiday world toward the end of this month and hav not been since early 2000's but if you go to Holiday world.cm it will show you all of the rides and tell you about each of the rides.

I also like the new layout as it tells about each ride and most of them have video's that show what they are like and/ pictures that are in slideshow view layout and I like that as well.

I agree the price is a great value. We purchase the season passes every year and it is a little under $400 for our family of 4. $400 for an entire season to make great memories is a great bargin. Hoilday World is about a 45 min drive but we often go over there just to eat at the Plymouth Rock Cafe and ride a couple of rides. I do not understand ... Read Morewhy so many people are ungrateful and rude towards Holiday World. The free sunscreen and free soft drinks, not to mention the wristbands for children that might wander off. The bottomline is that Holiday World is a family park that believes in the oldtime family values and I appreciate that. I enjoy every visit and every staff member that makes the trips so special.

Last year, I bought some shoes at Holiday World to help with the hot concrete and my other ones were leaving blisters on my heels... I love these shoes. I have them on right now. They're from Beach Basics, very comfy, very durable, withstands water very well.

We were there Monday and Tuesday and it was busier than we expected , but we followed the "tips" on the website and the lines were not bad b/c we did the water park first and rides later. It was crowded, but not nearly as crowded as Kings Island gets, we will definitely go back. We loved it.

you can get discount tickets at restaurants like McDonalds and Taco Bell. You can always go to the park late the first day there - I think after 3 and get it for maybe $19 or so... and then purchase your next day tickets when you leave for $19 for the following day.

Molly, sorry, but we have scheduled downtime for Pilgrims Plunge tomorrow -- so they can change the system to accommodate 2 more boats to improve capacity. They'll work through the night and will reopen it as soon as it's safe to do so (they'll have to test a lot). We hope it'll be open late Tuesday, but unfortunately we won't know until it happens. Sorry!
