Hollins University Two funds have been set up in memory of Shalynda Toney '10, who died Sunday in Rome: an emergency fund and a memorial scholarship.

An emergency fund has been created to help the Toney family with legal expenses and other related costs (gifts to this fund are not tax-deductible).

Hollins Mourns Loss of Shalynda Toney '10
Shalynda Toney of Vinton, Va., passed away Sunday as the result of injuries suffered when she was struck by a motorcyclist October 9 in Rome, Italy. She was 21.
Toney was studying abroad through a program sponsored by Arcadia University. A business major, she was scheduled to graduate from Hollins in spring 2010.
