Karol Kolc

Karol Kolc hey guys I just got a eflite msr yesterday! Its a little too fast for me so does anybody have a good transmitter setup for it? like dual rate and expo?

I don't use any but if you are struggling with speed then try it. My expo is at 0% and rates at 150%. 60% is a good place to start.

for your speed problems, start by chaning dual rates, not expo. If lowering dual rates doesn't make it feel right, then you can try some expo.

Tim Ware

Tim Ware I would like to express my appreciation and how Randall Stine handled the situation at hand with me. Went through hoops and hurdles to make it right and that he did. Kudos to you and your staff, you will have one loyal customer today and forever. Thank you so much Horizon Hobby staff and especially Randall Stine. Thanks again.

Nicholas

Nicholas I
know Jim and Gary warned us in this week's R/Cast about posting external links
here. But how many know that Horizon Hobby products (Vapors and MCXs)
are being used at AOPA Summit by AMA to give people an intro to the R/C
world?http://www.aopa.org/summit/news/2009/091105vapor.html

The Academy of Model Aeronautics is allowing visitors to AOPA Aviation Summit to fly a radio-controlled model airplane at its Airportfest exhibit at Peter O. Knight Airport in Tampa, Fla. I crashed one a dozen times, and you can, too!

Thanks Nicholas, our discussion regarding external links was only meant to keep our FaceBook discussions relevant to the products we market. Your links to AMA and AOPA are the kind of thing that I personally value because it connects our people and their ideas with the public. I hope these kind of things will help model aviation in general. Thanks for bringing that to our FaceBook friends!

Yeah, stuff like that- totally cool. Things were getting really out of control on a couple of the discussions and some sanity needed to be re-applied. I guess the main thing to remember is that, while this might have the feeling of a forum and we appreciate the dialog this isn't a forum in the truest sense of the word.

Peter Vogel

Peter Vogel Any info to share on the JR11x? RC Heli had a tiny blurb on it. Where does Horizon see this fitting in relative to the 12x and the 9303? SD card is nice -- does that allow for firmware upgrades by the user? Is it faster a'la the DX7SE? What's the dish man?

Bradley, yes, that is your problem, I have done it myself. That battery is not going to take a charge and you will have to replace it. Thank you Bradley for remembering that.
