
Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care
Come join our expert panel on Tuesday, November 17th for a forum and discussion on the ethical and moral concerns of healthcare. In this climate of reform, we will explore why there is a healthcare crisis and what issues ethical issues we have to address when looking for a new system.
Panel members include,
•Dr. Michael... Preodor, a nationally recognized palliative care physician, professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and Dean of the Rainbow Hospice LIFE Institute.
•Angie Konstantaras, a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse with more than 10 years of hospice experience, and a nine-year veteran of the ethics committee at Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care.
•The Rev. Dr. Clint Moore III, a clinical ethicist and director of the Center for Clinical Ethics at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital.
•Dr. Barbe Creagh, a 25 year end-of-life care veteran and chair of Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care’s Ethics Committee.
And our moderator is the emmy-nominated medical reporter formerly with WFLD-TV in Chicago, Margaret Shortridge.

Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care
Lend a hand by bringing in non-perishable food items for the Older Adult Services' Home Delivered Meals program.
Examples of items in need are:
cans of soup with a pop top lid
crackers of any kind
tuna (in a bag or with a pop top lid)
peanut butter
fruit/pudding cups (that don't need to be refrigerated)
granola bars
oatmeal
crackers with cheese or peanut butter
cookies
Bring in the Food!

The Fall Interfaith Memorial Service is an ecumenical prayer service for family and friends whose loved ones were served by Rainbow Hospice and/or who participate in our Adult Grief Groups.
All community bereaved who wish to remember their loved ones are also welcome.
