Survey finds organizations turning to social media to keep workforce engaged
Employers faced with reduced communication budgets and resources are turning to social media to keep their workforce engaged, according to a survey released today by the IABC Research Foundation and Buck Consultants, an ACS company. The survey explored how organizations are communicating with employees to keep them engaged and productive and received responses from nearly 1,500 participants representing a broad industry and geographic base. Robin McCasland named 2009-2010 chair of Research Foundation
McCasland officially took over the position at the Research Foundation luncheon and seminar at the IABC World Conference in San Francisco. "The overarching theme for the Research Foundation this year is greater cultural awareness. We are gathering input currently from potential researchers and partners outside of North America so that we can do a better job meeting the needs of IABC members globally," says McCasland.
