THANK YOU for writing this. I work internationally, and receive offers to be an agent of one kind of another for various institutions several times a week. I reject them all. I work in a part of the world where people expect that there must be some sort of favorable arrangement, so a big part of my work with parents is in educating them about ethical consulting. I also tell them that when hiring an ethical educational consultant they must be sure to look for the consultant's membership in IECA.

Judy Zodda Going to the Paradise City Arts Fair today. Here's where I learn about the creative arts from the best (the artisans themselves) by asking lots of questions, including where they went to college and what they studied, and their journey that got them to this point. Love this!

Stephanie Scott Klein Wassink

Stephanie Scott Klein Wassink Waves of guilt washed thru me as I pondered attending my first IECA conference. Would it be worth the havoc it would most certainly cause my four children...and my husband? The answer was simply yes. It was worth every moment. Having worked in admissions and having read literally thousands of applications...I did no...t know how much I could glean from such a fun, smart and inclusive group.

Mark H. Sklarow We are still looking for some volunteers who would like to be part of the organizing team for College Week Live. They would help in the planning and coordinate development of a "Frequently Asked Questions" page for IECA consultants to use while serving as "Counselors-on-Call." Willing to serve? Let me know.
