well what do you expect?! over the last couple of decades we've outsourced the majority of our manufacturing base (look at our car manufacturers) and we keep downsizing out military, despite 2 wars!!! it makes NO SENSE!!!

Well...there are more reasons then just moment of businesses and downsizing of the military. We have not even invested in our own infrastructure for a long time. Even our innovation has gone done quite a bit. But this is to be expected in a multi-polar globalizing economy.

We have just fallen behind the learning curve a bit. But I would not ... See Morecount the US down and out. If we would simply shift our views on energy there would be huge economic shifts but we are still catering to oil companies and car companies who have not innovated their systems for too long.
