The International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) today announced the Honoree Induction Class of 2010 for the sport of Water Polo. The 2010 Enshrinement will mark the organization’s 46th year of honoring the greatest names in the history of the sports... of swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo. The Induction for Water Polo Athletes will take place coincident with the European Water Polo Championships on Friday, September 10, in Zagreb, Croatia.

This just reconfirms why I have ALWAYS loved to watch Rowdy swim... man, this brings back sooooo many wonderful memories of watching the LA Games as a young and impressionable age-grouper. Rowdy said in the vid that swimming at Y-Nats @ISHOF was like coming home. Well, watching him swim was like being home again... back in that place in time when... See More swimming meant so much to me. I am so glad to say that it still does, as I know it does for so many others as well. We really are one big collective family, just as he stated. It is so true. Just look around here on FB or at any Masters meet for the evidence. The love for the sport amongst us is so great, it is almost palpable. Proud of your swims Rowdy and we *heart* you! ;)
