Hi. Please explore our events, photos and look on our wall. Join with us as a Fan of the Illinois Audubon Society.
We welcome your contribution of local bird and conservation events, photos and creating and joining discussions.
Here's more information about us:
The Illinois Audubon Society is an independent non-profit educational and scientific organization. It is not affiliated with National Audubon Society. Illinois' oldest conservation organization continues to be a member driven grassroots force, working actively to protect and enhance Illinois' unique habitats and to educate the public about them.
Today, Illinois Audubon's membership includes over 2300 earth stewards, 19 chapters and 13 affiliate groups. Our 10 statewide wildlife sanctuaries consist of nearly 1000 acres and in recent years, as a land trust partner, we have worked to acquire an additional 2000 acres that have been protected from future development and are being managed for rich habitat and biodiversity.
If you are member of Illinois Audubon, your support continues to be invaluable in our mission to promote, perpetuate and foster appreciation of our native plants and animals and the habitats that support them. If you are not a member of Illinois Audubon and are concerned about Illinois' natural resources, we invite you to join us. By working together, we can make a difference today and for generations to come.
