75k from an alumni for a breach of contract claim is a joke. Knight said it best on the subject " I have never nor will I ever take money from an alumni" IU owes him a public formal apology and to the fans that have had to sit through the sad Davis years and the disgusting tenure with Sampson.

Even though he is not the coach I still bleed Cream and Crimson.

As an educator and alumnus of Indiana University, I will tell you that this money is going directly to the students. If the child has the proper g.p.a. and SAT scores, they get either room/board or tuition paid for. I teach at a high school in Fort Wayne, and 15 of our students qualified for the scholarship. They are very thankful for the help, and I think it is great that the top students are being rewarded.
