Indoor Tanning is wondering why "the sunshine state" would want to consider banning ANYONE from sunshine (indoors or outdoors!)... Lewis Henry makes sense.

The Florida Legislature is considering a bill that would ban Florida teens from using tanning beds if they are under 16.

I agree with crazefor rayz, I find it easier to get a base tan through spring and when summer comes you wont be so pasty looking and you can continue with your tan without all the harsh sun burns!

same comment as a previous post I saw. Your skin does not absorb Vitamin D from the sun. Your skin converts a form of cholesterol in the skin into Vitmamin D when exposed to UVB. And more importantly, the type that it creates is converted into an active Vitamin D hormone in the kidneys that is responsible for strengthening the immune system and ... See Morelowering a person's risk to certain cancers like prostate, colon and breast cancers.
Very important stuff since man made versions of that vitamin doesn not get converted by the kidneys like the natural kind your skin makes. And your skin has a very effective way of making as much Vitamin D as possible with out over dosing unlike pills that can cause vitamin toxicity if not careful.
