Neel Agarwal Hondas are the best car company every created...did u know that origanlly they made motors for other car companies, then they decided, if they can make a rly good motor, then why not put a body on that too! =P
Eric Coulson drove from Baltimore to Philly Friday and the Insight did 45.8 mpg overall. Only burned through half a tank round trip. It helped that it was cool enough on the drive up in the morning that I didn't need to use the A/C

Christine Rieken Hansen I've had my Insight since June 4th! I LOVE it! My tank of gas I'm on now I'm getting 46 mpg easily. The only thing that ate into that was some city driving and a few hills, otherwise would have been closer to 48. I've had the mpg as high as 51, but not for an extended period of time. Use the ECON as much as possible for fuel efficiency. I like to use my cruise a lot. I cancel my cruise when I know I'm coming into a speed zone and let the car coast in and that really helps with your mpg. You can reset your cruise for your new speed limit, etc. Of couse, it depends on if you are driving in heavy traffic or not.
Please note!! If you are a first time buyer, that floor mats don't come standard, they are extra. We purchased the all season mats for ours, got the mud guards, the cargo tray, and had them install XM satellite radio in ours. Most of this was negotiated as part of our purchase price. I have the Alabaster Silver EX. I wouldn't even bother with the LX model.
