Hi Sian, we can look at Sydney but this to be honest is a very expensive programme. We sent two DIT students to a fantastic 5 star hotel in Wellington, New Zealand last year and the hotel wants two more (preferably DIT students) to start in Feb.

It is pretty much impossible to gain a paid job before you arrive in Australia and pretty tough when you get there as well unfortunately. What our internships will give you is some very good work experience on your CV over 3-4 months that you can then use to move into paid employment in Australia.

With a couple more students, we are planning to take the internship together. All of us are holding Filipino passports. Also, I would like to know whether the internship will be for June or November of 2010.
