It's that time of the year, you guessed it!
Here comes IssueLab's annual Research Roundup - it's the year-end list of what's popular, staff picks, fun facts and CloseUp statistics.
And because this is our second annual roundup we can even do some comparisons. Interestingly, the most downloaded title remained the same, but was downloaded more than twice as often this year as it was last year! Two of the most viewed listings from 2008 made it into the list again this year, showing that old reports do not necessarily mean stale reports.
While some folks make New Year's Resolutions to get in shape, be nicer, get their dream job, or quit smoking, IssueLab resolves to do our darndest to keep supporting nonprofits and the research they produce by archiving and sharing their valuable work. We hope you'll join us in making that goal come true.
Check out the full set of lists and picks for the 2009 Research Roundup here. Enjoy!

Smoothing over centuries of religious conflicts and socially-constructed barriers is a difficult proposition.
Yet hundreds of organizations identify as Interfaith for a very good reason: when we work to erase the barriers of religion and through dialogue begin to recognize shared goals, these goals become more attainable.

When a topic is underrepresented, IssueLab steps in.
That's why the August/September CloseUp is such a valuable collection. It compiles research on both local and statewide cases of environmental injustice as well as on ways to strengthen and better understand the impact of the Environmental Justice movement in general.
Environmental justice is the study of how environmental policies and practices inequitably affect specific groups and communities, most commonly low-income communities, people of color, immigrants, and indigenous populations. And we love nothing more than introducing audiences to new materials, and cross-promoting related issue areas.
