Italian Week The St Lucia Orchestra is performing at St Lucia on the 30th of August at the Schonell Theatre, UQ. The orchestra is performing with the Giuseppe Verdi Choral Society, which is an all-male choir who sing famous Italian songs and opera choruses. The choir was formed in the 1950s by Italian migrants who wanted to maintain and express their wonderful cultural tradition in Australia.

Italian Week "Well, my real passion, my dream was the theatre. Hence, my first step was to take and pass the entry exam at the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica S. D’Amico in Rome. I graduated with an essay on the adaptation and dramatization of some short stories by L. Pirandello, under the literary guidance and the direction of Andrea Camilleri.
