Jones Beach State Park, Parking Field 5 (Zachs Bay), at the east side by the Zachs Bay concession and restrooms on the grassy area.... Look for our TEAM banner.
* You may also sign up at our table the morning of the walk.
Feel free to show up at any time during the day to do your walk. Traffic has been very heavy in the past after 8:00 AM

The next meeting of the JBLC Beach Representatives will be on Wednesday, October 7th, at 7pm. We will meet at NYSUT offices, which are located at 1000 Woodbury Road, in Woodbury. All lifeguards are welcome at our meetings.
Jones Beach Lifeguard Corps The UNION treasurer Robert Cornachia is running our Third annual Met Game fundraiser. He's aquired 125 tickets to the Tuesday, September 8th METS game vs Florida; and is selling them for $30 each. You can just come for the Tailgate if you like no purchase necessary.. pre and post-game tailgate with plenty of food BBQ,... raffle and entry to the game. Proceeds will be used to fund union activities. Pre-game tailgate starts @ 3:30PM and goes to just before the 7:10 PM game. There will be a post-game tailgate as well. . A map of the meeting spot is also on both JBLC websites. It is the same place as last year. He's already sold over 75 tickets, and if need be can purchase more. Contact Robert at (516) 652-2927. The tailgate festivities will begin around 3:30 PM in the parking lot adjoining the Worlds Fair marina North of Shea Stadium and the Whitestone expressway overlooking Flushing Bay.

The next meeting of the JBLC beach representatives will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 7:30pm at West Bath House, Jones Beach. I hope everyone can attend the last summer meeting for 2009. Please try to have a current contact list for each beach. I would prefer it in Excel format, so I am including a templat...e. You may print it out and bring it to the meeting as well!
