The Jackson Zoo
Military veterans will be admitted to the Jackson Zoo free Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in recognition of Veterans Day. This free admission is for active military personnel, military veterans and their families. The free admission is offered as the Zoo’s gratitude for those that serve our country.
Military personnel ...will receive free admission during the Zoo’s normal operational hours from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11th. Visitors must show their military ID, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification to be given free admission. All immediate family members with military personnel also receive free admission on Nov. 11th. Jackson Zoo offers a discount throughout the year of $1 off admission for military personnel and their families.

The Jackson Zoo Important Change! Boo at the Zoo is canceled for tonight (Friday the 30th) due to major soaking heading our way! BUT Saturday the 31st is still on - starting earlier at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
