JMLive events in the UK are always cash only, is that not the case of US JM.com events? Mind you I for one would feel safer carrying cash around if there were always cash points nearby to get extra cash. As someone who is mobility impaired 'popping out' for more money ism't always a viable option, especially after an hour or two at an event.

the main reason for bidders having to pay in cash, is that it's not possible to accept any payments in any other form. i.e, to be able to pay with a card, the vendor so to speak would need to already have a swipe or chip & pin machine that was either connected to an existing phone line & as that is not usually the case, it's only possible to ask ... See Morebidders to pay in cash. there are some things that event managers just can't change or re arrange, this being one of them. i should know, i am one after all & there's an awful lot of trouble & planning work that goes in to these events, so please go enjoy your time at the event & i hope that your bid is successful.

Nice to see from James's comment that despite the pain he says he enjoyed himself at Hallowhedon. Also nice to see 'Steve says he's going to keep me bubble wrapped until then!'. Hopefully even James can't do too much damage to himself reading for the Dresden Files audio CDs. Or can he??
