Ask Jayne

Are there any Joneses that use their abilities to their advantage to take petty revenge against those who abuse their abilities and/or rank?

-Cheryl

Joneses behaving badly, Cheryl? Tsk, tsk. Of course, now and again a Jones is obliged to dispose of a bad guy but I don’t think we can call that petty revenge.

-Jayne

COMING SOON: Dreamlight Trilogy
The Arcane Society was founded on Secrets and few of those secrets are more dangerous than those kept by the descendants of Nicholas Winters, mortal enemy of Sylvester Jones. Before his death, Nicholas forged the Burning Lamp, a device infused with paranormal powers, with vengeance in mind. His plan was that one of his descendants would eventually use the lamp to destroy the entire Jones family. In the Dreamlight Trilogy you will meet the men of the Burning Lamp, the dark side of Arcane:

FIRED UP: (Dec. 29) (JAK) Jack Winters has inherited a psychic genetic curse that will transform him into a lethal rogue talent if he doesn’t find the Burning Lamp and a very special woman who can reverse the process.

BURNING LAMP: (Spring ’10) (AQ) Griffin Winters is London’s most notorious crime lord. The nightmares and hallucinations that are the hallmark of the Winters Family have struck. He’s on the run from Jones & Jones, his only hope a social reformer named Adelaide Pyne. But Adelaide does not approve of crime lords.

MIDNIGHT CRYSTAL: (August ’10) (JC) The mysterious Burning Lamp made it through the Curtain. So did the Winters Family curse. The trilogy comes to an end on Harmony. The fates of the powerful Winters and Jones families hang in the balance. And the latest head of Jones & Jones, Marlowe Jones, is our heroine.
