Unfortunately, this is a sad reality and when many of Florida’s hardworking families are cutting back on the extras and now focusing on the essentials, Washington just keeps on spending!

This debt is built around existing programs; so new corporate bailouts and government-run health care will only increase the burden on taxpayers even more.

Here, in Florida, we balance our budget. Through these tough economic times, I have worked to keep our state operating within the revenues we have. More can be done, and that's why I am running to be the next Chief Financial Officer of Florida.

While Washington bureaucrats and special interests continue their outrageous spending spree, I will fight to ensure Florida stays on the road to economic recovery.
