Well folks, another great summer season is in the books and the fall fishing season is in full swing. Ask anyone here on the coast and they’ll agree, including me, that fall is our favorite time of the year to go fishing. But first a few words about this past summer.

yikes!! be careful - we went to their seafood buffet this past Saturday and it was awful - quite a disappointment, really. They even charged us full price though we weren't happy with it - didn't go back for seconds and barely ate anything!

I'm very sorry to report that we gave Blackbeards another chance week before last after reading a while back that it had new management and they served us breadsticks that were so hard we could barely break them. So we made it simple and ordered a bowl of clamchowder each which was very good! But I'm not sure we will ever go back. They used to ... Read Moreserve a bowl of mussels in a creamy white sauce that was wonderful but no longer carry it. To me with having one of the prettiest landscapes on the Island it's much ashame they have food and service that's not up to par.
