Very dissapointed in the No Vote on Saturday evening. I hope when the bill comes back through you will take that opportunity to redeam your vote. I hope that you listen to those that have called into your office and vote with the members of your district.

The push over this is really getting old. It's unConstitutional, and they know it just like we do. I didn't try to call. Didn't figure I'd get through, so I opted for e-mail - alot.

There is something wrong when a Senator doesn't have people to answer live. Luckily, I never voted for her. However, guys, the BEST way to respond is by our votes. THAT will make the difference!

There are only 2 groups that we owe in this country - Veterans and the Elderly. No one else is owed anything.... Read More

All other insurance is not treated the same way as health insurance is treated. Where will this stop if this gets passed? Will they expand it out to say that everyone "deserves" auto insurance? Life insurance? Boat, RV, etc. insurance? If we let them get by with this, what else is down the road.

John, you have my backing, and our back! Thanks!

@Kathy Downs I've gotten my whole family to call Mr Boozman in support of the Health Care Bill. I know there is no chance he'll break with the Republicans and vote for it but its nice to see people like you trying to do something for healthcare in this country.

Why is it that we need 1900 pages to institute more government corruption?
I mean, if medicare is working so well, why not simply modify it to include all age groups?

Food for thought...
Does your AUTO insurance pay for oil changes?... Read More
Does your HOMEOWNERS insurance pay for a furnace repair?
Does your LIFE insurance pay for ANYTHING???

So why are people expecting their HEALTH insurance to pay for a trip to the doctor when you have a cold?

All other types of insurance are for MAJOR conditions. If we approached HEALTHCARE the same way, perhaps people would be a little more responsible.

Lyndsy, I think you have a good approach. Medicare as it is now is unsustainable. And, by the way, I am on Medicare plus Tricare for LIfe as part of my Air Force retirement. But, as it is now, it is unworkable. The tens of trillions of dollars in unfunded libiality is absurd.

At the same time, I am a very strong supporter of reforming ... Read Morethe system, provided it is done in a constitutional way. Two vital pieces of a workable reform would include Tort reform and allowing the purchase of insurance across state lines.
