Make 2010 the year to run a 10k, half a marathon or cycle from London to Paris. There are so many ways you can help KIDS continue to support disabled children. One of the great ways is by joining the KIDS team and taking on one of our many challenge events.

FORMER Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay is calling on Dudley
residents to nominate their favourite Lottery funded project in The
National Lottery Awards 2010.

Over the last year, over £1.3 million of Lottery funding has helped
projects in the borough and now the National Lottery is urging them to
enter the awa...rds and gain recognition for their work.

The entrants that make it to the final stage will appear on a
star-studded prime-time BBC1 TV show later this year. They will also
have a chance to win a £2,000 cash prize.

There are seven categories to choose from, each reflecting an area
of Lottery funding. They are Sport; Heritage; Arts; Environment;
Voluntary/Charity (in association with Woman magazine) and Health and
Education.

Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday, February 12.

Your end destination is the town of Siem Reap from where you can explore the ancient city of Angkor. Built from 879-1191AD by the Khmer civilization, Angkor represents one of humankind's most astonishing architectural achievements and in 1992, the city of Angkor became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

1.Full Package: including your return flights from London - New York, accommodation for 3 nights and race entry. Mini...mum sponsorship £2,000.

2.Flight & Entry: including your return flights from London - New York and race entry. Minimum sponsorship £1,500.

KIDS The trek starts in the rainforests of Lemosho Glades and heads upwards as you acclimatise on Shira Plateau. From here you will catch a glimpse of your goal Kibo, Kilimanjaro's main ice-capped peak. Temperatures drop at night, allowing you to enjoy the crisp cool air under the star-studded African skies. During the days... you'll rise higher; often looking down on a sea of clouds. Most trekkers will never have experienced a challenge as tough as this, with 1,000m of ascent and over 2,000m of descent. The feeling you will achieve is priceless.

KIDS The race takes place at London’s ExCel centre in Docklands and starts with the swim in the Royal Victoria Docks. It is the world’s biggest triathlon event attracting 10,000 participants each year - many of whom are first time triathletes.

Choose your distance, there are three entry levels in the competition, to challen...ge different sporting abilities, so there is something for everyone.
