A group of University of Kansas researchers working with Chinese colleagues have discovered a venomous, birdlike raptor that thrived some 128 million years ago in China. This is the first report of venom in the lineage that leads to modern birds.

The University of Kansas will see its sustainability efforts highlighted on ESPN during tomorrow's "Green Game" when the Jayhawks take on the Michigan Wolverines at 11 a.m. Learn more about the greening of Mount Oread below!

I've attended Vespers for probably 25+ years. This was in the top 5 programs of those years. Would like to see you bring back 2 things, though: the procession of choirs and/or specialty choirs to open the program; performance by some of the small groups or ensembles (i.e. Jazz singers or Women's group) rather than the professional octet that performed this year. They were good, but I want to hear the students.
