Katheryn Yoshida Perez I want to say thank you, for a nurse who worked in NICU I think her name is Karen, it's been many years since I last saw her. I met a nurse who worked at NICU at St. Joseph hospital and Kapi'olani with you. Thank you, for the caring person.

Valerie I was born here on Dec. 22 1967! I now reside in Hilo. I was last there 3 1/2 yrs ago when my son had surgery there when he was 7 1/2 months old. Our stay there was pretty good. I work for a hospital here in Hilo and it doesn't compare to the quality of service I recieved there. Thanks, KAP's!

April Had both of my children here at Kapiolani Medical center and loved the TLC I received. Both of them suffered from Jaundice and had to stay overnight, luckily I lived a block away. They provided me the utmost assistance so i could care for them at home. My nephew was diagnosed with the Kawasaki's disease and Kapiolani w...as there to help. I strongly encourage that everyone that has been touched by this hospital give back. In any form they are always looking for volunteers or donations. Thank you very much for all your services and help.

Ginelle Green Nearly a year ago, my 2yr old son was diagnosed with Kawasaki's Disease and had to be med-evac'd to Kapiolani. Thanks to the quick response, excellent care, and superior knowledge of the Kapi'olani staff, my son made a full recovery and does not suffer from ANY lasting effects associated with this disease. Thank you Dr.... Melish and the rest of the KMC Staff for all that you do!

Momi My husband and I would like to thank KMC for taking care of our daughter. She was born on Kaua`i and had a heart murmur due to a heart valve not closing at birth with a possibility of heart surgery. As new parents we were scared and unsure what was to happen. We flew her to O`ahu at 4 days old, just barely out of the h...ospital, and was amazed at the staff how caring and supportive they were to assure us that it'll be okay. We returned to Kaua`i to see if the valve would close on its own within 6 months, of which the doctors at KMC and Wilcox kept close tabs on her progress and it eventually did close in its fifth month. It was close. Today she is a healthy 10-year old that enjoys life. It was good to know that no matter how minor or serious the cases may be...they treat everyone like family...`ohana. Me Kealoha Pumehana KMC and God Bless.

Drig Mahalo for taking care of my daughter when she was in the hospital for 2 weeks in August of this year for having a ruptured appendix and always checking if we needed anything...Being from Molokai you made sure we were taken care of...Mahalo Nui
