Just back from a week in Charleston, SC; part fun, part business. Our field editor in Charleston, Sandi Mohlmann, and I took the Kitchens and Cuisines tour in Beaufort and found a beautifully done small kitchen that we'd like to photograph for KBI the magazine. While in Charleston, we also shot a gorgeous kitchen in a ...new home for sale on Sullivan's Island. We think it might be a cover--white cabinets and a robin's egg blue island. Maybe you'll see it on newsstands sometime in 2010...Read More

Just heard back from the homeowner of the bath pictured on page 92 of Kitchen+Bath Makeovers. She does not recall the manufacturer of the tile. It was 2-inch hexagon Carrera marble purchased on eBay. I did a quick search on eBay and found several options that look really similar. Good luck!

Good question! We host Thanksgiving every year. We've just added speakers in the kitchen so music can flow throughout. I would like to get both my cookware and serving dishes more organized within my cabinetry.

We just clean out out cabinetry to store what we REALLY need in the kitchen. And it helped us clear off our countertops and store more in the cabinets. Now we have more space to work and serve food!
