Hey everyone. The site updates have apparently slowed, but that's just because we've been busy.
We still have monthly business meetings in Louisville, Lexington, and Northern Kentucky, and are working on bringing a location within KY-2 online soon. (Speaking of, if you're in KY's second US congressional district and want to help organize it, please contact me).

Libertarian Party of Kentucky
It's FreedomFest! 3PM - 6PM, June 13th.
Guest Speakers!
Games!
Raffle for a Gadsden Flag!
This event is meant to bring libertarians together, as well as introduce the masses to Libertarians.
Come out and have a drink with fellow libertarians.

Daniel Williams Always been a fan - now it's official!

We will continue to hold our meeting in the "Judge's Chambers" meeting room at Chez Nora. The business meeting will start PROMPTLY at 6:35PM. Social meeting begins at 7:45PM.
Anyone who wishes to eat during the meeting should arrive at 6PM, to avoid interruption during the meeting. We encourage people to eat at Chez Nor...a, and happy hour runs until 7PM. However, if you wish to deprive yourself of excellent food and happy hour alcohol prices, purchases are not required.
If you wish to come and socialize early, there is a bar on the "regular" 3rd floor near the Judge's Chambers room.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we will be in the Judge's Chambers. Take the elevator to floor 3R, turn right, and you will walk into the Judge's Chambers room. If in doubt, ask a host or hostess on the 1st floor.

Food is permitted in the room, but LPKY does not supply food. These events are BYOF. Also, some members choose to go to the Irish Rover after these meetings.
Agenda will be provided at the meeting.

Libertarian Party of Kentucky
We have secured a more professional, indoor location for our meetings. As we continue our transition from social group to political party, the securing of a professional meeting place is critical. It has been one of the keys to success in Louisville, and has also helped Northern Kentucky, as well. The Inn on Broadway i...s a very nice location, and we are able to bring food, but the party will not be providing food. There are a number of restaurants near-by, and it's only about a mile from the existing meeting place.
Enter through the Crowne Plaza parking lot, and go left to go to The Inn.
Draft June Agenda is as follows:
Call to Order at 7:05PM sharp.
Attendance / Roll Call
Summary of notes from previous meeting
Louisville Tea Party (April 15th)
Lexington/BIPPS Tax Liberation Day (April 18th)
Previous events:
LPIN/LPKY State Convention – May 15 – 17, Clarksville, IN (Statewide/LP)
Party events:
Bylaws changes
Focus on District Development
Upcoming events:
"Freedom Fest" in Louisville – June 13th (Statewide/LP)
4th of July Parades
4th of July Tea Party?
Reports:
County / Candidate updates (Statewide/LP)
Preparing for 2010
Forming an executive committee for KY-6 - Elections in July?
Update on Preparing candidates (candidate training website)
