Heather Kaftan With $1,000 I would pay off a close friend's debt. They've been looking to save towards buying a house, but due to some mistakes earlier in their life they have an old bill from an apartment complex and some credit card debt where the interest is eating their efforts alive and hurting their credit. Its very frustrating... for them, and they've helped me through some very rough times. It would be nice to do the same for them.
